Casey Castallano
Lyrical/Contemporary

Casey Castellano is 21 years old and currently living in NYC. She has been dancing and competing since the age of 9. She began her career as a choreographer at the young age of 17.  She is nationally ranked in gymnastics, ballroom dance and performing arts.  She has been the recipient of numerous awards and titles including the prestigious Junior Miss Dance of the United States 2001 and Miss Dance of the United States 2004.   During her reign as Miss Dance of the United States Casey was able to raise money for a charity of her choice. She chose the American Cancer Society.  As Miss Dance she was given the opportunity to perform at various venues throughout the United States.   Casey has also been a member of the United States Dance Team.

Her choreography has been awarded numerous awards throughout the years. She has been awarded the regional Young Choreographer of the Year on multiple occasions, which is given by American Dance Awards.  The Kids for Kids Charity Organization also named her their Senior Choreographer of the Year for 2009 and  this past summer she was named Choreographer of the Year 2009 by the United States Tournament of Dance for her routine “Angel”.

Casey is a firm believer that anyone can learn, even those of us with two left feet. She always strives for a motivated, highly positive atmosphere in her classroom.  Her goal is to have each student leave her class feeling that they have gained something, no matter how big or small.
